Steering Column Repair: Replace key cylinder, gm vehicles, cadillac deville

Question
I have a 2005 Cadillac Deville.  The key stopped turning so it will not start.  
When you stick the key in the ignition the proper lights come on but no
key turn.

Lastly, I would have a new lock cylinder in hand before you begin, to see what you are working on (hidden in the column) and accomplish finishing this job quickly.
