Steering Column Repair: box job, box job, stearling

I had a neighber take the stearing column apart on my 84 chevy 3/4 ton custom delux 4wd truck.  He is no longer able to put it back togeter. It is all apart. Its origonal problem was the latch in back of the key that you depress to turn the key off, got jammed and would not depress.  I don't see anything worng, but I have some questions on how it all goes back together.  I can send picuters of the specific parts that I am having trouble with if you can help. Other info:  truck is a four speed stick and colume has only one lever for brights and trun  signal and one peed wipers.

hello  this is bad he did this to your truck i have sean this so many times . he proulbly destroyed most the parts i would go to a sallavge yard and buy a stearling colluim they run 75 dollors and now will be much cheaper in the long run. good luck to you sorry this has hapend to you from now on only let a good shop touh your truck or car your nebigher will be better off and the time u will save you will be head all the way pete
