Steering Column Repair: replace the ignition lock, ford steering column, mercury villager

Hi I lost my keys so I cannot turn the key to the on position. So how do I remove and replace the ignition lock in a 1995 Mercury Villager.

Although the example is for a different vehicle than yours, the column is identical to yours (tilt and non tilt use the same housing)
