Steering Column Repair: Dodge 1977 B200, salvage yards, salvage

My column mounted gear shifter isn't working. Obviously. The thing that holds the lever in place wore down considerably, and recently broke. I can still shift, but only from neutral, and into 2nd and 3rd. It won't shift into R/1st because it can't be pulled forward enough. Do I need to replace the whole housing?

It sounds like you would be best served finding and replacing the column as an assembly rather than trying to locate the correct parts (30 yr old parts) and rebuilding this one
For used parts...Try this site.  You may be able to find what you need.
