Steering Column Repair: Windshield wiper switch replacement, dodge ram 2500, windshield wiper switch

Hi,

I have 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 and the wiper motor will not turn on. I replaced th wiper motor  three years ago. How can I replace the switch? The switch is in th turn signal arm.

Multi switch Hi John:
the wiper switch is part of the 'multifunction switch'.  this is one of the easiest parts to replace on the entire vehicle.  You will need to remove the upper and lower cover of the column (3 20 torx screws) by splitting the cover after the bolts are removed.
You will then see the two screws holding the multi switch to the column.  Remove those screws, unplug the switch and you're done (removal)
Installation is simply the opposite.
