Steering Column Repair: 77 steering column, tilt column, chevrolet truck

I am having the same problem as a a person you helped out last year with a 77 Vette steering column. I got a hold of one that is in pieces. I was wondering if you could send me the pics you sent him. Hopefully I can put it back together. Many thanks

We have recently uploaded some videos and instructional pages for tilt and telescopic columns (among other repairs) on our website to give you first hand viewing of how to remove, disassemble, and reassemble the loose tilt column you are talking about. They are broken down into step by step 2-3 minute detailed videos with instructions. Although the videos are for a Chevrolet truck, the column is very similar to yours.  The telescopic repair instructions are for a Corvette.
