Subaru Repair: 1993 Subaru Legacy AWD sation wagon wont start, subaru legacy, battery cables

When I insert my key into the ignition and attempt to start it, it won't do  anything.  No lights within the dash board as well as any other lights.  The ONLY thing that happens when the key is in the ignition is the door ajar  noise indicator goes off, that's it. The battery and all the battery cables are good and the fusible link in the fuse box looks OK.  Any help in what else to look for would be very much appreciated, thanks, Jack

If the lights don't come on, I would recheck the battery and cables.  From there you need to look into the power or ground loss.

If the lights do in fact come on and it doesn't start most likely the starter contacts are worn.
