I drove for two months with a bad knock sensor did I do any damage?

It's hard to say for sure but most likely no, as the vehicles computer will go into a "limp mode" when there is a failed sensor input to it.  Now an engine running in limp mode fore to long will never run as efficiently as on that isn't.
