Subaru Repair: Check Engine light on 94 legacy, drive auto, o2 sensor

Question
I have a 1994 Legacy L. The check engine light started turning on periodically. It tends to come on after the car has been driven for a while. The light will come on for a few minutes and then turn off. I have replace the O2 sensor with an after market sensor but the problem hasn't gone away. I have also replaced the spark plugs and wires. What is the cause?

Answer
It would have to be diagnosed. The light comes on whenever the ECM sees a problem with A sensor or silinoid.Probally better to stop tossing parts at it and have it professinaly diagnosed by someone who knows Subaru, has the Subaru select monitor 1 or its equivelent.Lots of possibilities and would hate to see you through more money at it by giving you a list of possibles causes.
