Subaru Repair: 03 Outback H6: Howling noises, outback h6, gussets

Recently we purchased a used '03 Outback H6, 90,000k. Highway driving above 90km/h with side winds (from left or right) there is a high pitched whistling howl from passenger-side engine compartment. The gussets have been replaced and the service center cannot diagnose the problem. Any suggestions?

There isn't anything typical for that car aside from the gussets.We would use Ultrasonic ears while driving the car to try and determine where it is coming from but most shops do not employ this technology as it is expensive.If i had to guess i would say a firewall grommet had shifted.I hope that helped
