-----Question-----
We replaced the fuel nozzle a few months ago, now we are smelling a strong gas smell when the car idles, especially when we open a door. Seems to be no leak, engine light is not on. Any suggestions?
-----Answer-----
Not real sure what a fuel nozzle is. Maybe a fuel injector? If you have replaced a fuel injector, the o ring may have been torn or the injector may not be seated properly. I would recheck what you have done very closely, and if you still cant find the source of the leak, get the car to a good shop soon. Driving with a fuel leak is very dangerous.   Z

Answer
Got it. I would recheck the entire fuel system closely. Normally, if replacing the fuel nozzle a few months ago caused a problem, I would expect fuel to be seen leaking or a check engine light since the evaporative emissions system might not be holding pressure. Since neither of those things are happening, you are going to have to do some real digging. Why did you replace the fuel nozzle? If it was for rust, then you may have some other lines leaking also. Be very careful. And like I said before, if you cant get to the bottom of this very soon, get a pro involved.
