Towing Issues: Towing my Torrent, dingy towing, tow dolly

I have a 2006 Pontiac Torrent that I want to tow behind my motorhome.  Can it be towed with all 4 wheels down?  It is a front wheel drive and so far I have heard 3 different answers as to how to tow.

while "DINGY" towing is not my area of expertise,  I would be more inclined to use a tow dolly and have the front wheels off the ground so that there is no special equipment to unhook or install...  Just drive on and off and you are about done.

Also the dolly or even a full car trailer where all the wheels are off the ground would be best as the transmission would not be involved at all and not subject to risk of damage.
