Towing Issues: tow, motorclub, tow company

If a car is towed for a Motorclub and the owner refuses to pay overage costs, is it legel for the tow company to inpound the vehicle??

I don't know where you are located, so I can't research this. The consensus in the office is a yes you could impound the car, but I would think that this would not look good in the eyes of the motorclub. If the overage were a significant amount, then I would be considering the same thing you are. You should definitely run this scenario by your motorclub.
