Towing Issues: towing damage, farings, tow company

my motorcycle was towed recently and the driver put a strap over the back of the bike and it cracked the rear farings. is the towing company responsible for the damages?

Generally that answer is yes...  Talk to then and see what they say or do...   

It may take time and it might be that they deny it at first, but who knows what they will do... Each tow company has different policies on handling damage claims... And then there are also some other issues which could be a factor... Since I was not there and do not know the reason for the tow, it is really hard to answer this question....

I am sure you will hear "pre existing damages" or other reasons to deny the claim at first.
