Towing Issues: philadelphia law regarding sign, visible spots, philadelphia law

Question
Ok so I parked my car in a lot for a few shops but it was after store hours. The entrance had no sign and I walked out of the lot the same way I came in. When I realized my car was gone I walked further into the lot and found a sign for towing. There was no way for me to have seen that sign from where I was parked. I want to know if there is any law in Philadelphia regarding signs to placed in visible spots.

Answer
yes Philadelphia has many laws regarding towing from private property and the posting of signs...

They are supposed to be at the entrances and visible in the lot also, BUT like anything else, signs get damaged, destroyed, vandalized  and such...

Heck 20 minutes before you parked someone might of got towed and taken down the signs in an attempt to try and beat the laws...

I am sorry that I can not point you to the actual laws ( I had a computer failure and all the links and information is on the dead machine, which I hope to recover soon)

I would suggest that you look at some signs in the City and see if they list a city code or state law... I tried to find it again but was not able to on a quick search.. Sorry again.
