Towing Issues: new hampshire patrol towing law, fire lane, tow company

Question
I was dropping medicine off to my mother at her complex. i went in gave her the medicine said hello and whats up she answered. by the time her answer was finished we heard something outside we looked out and my vehicle was on the wrecker it was within a matter of 4 minutes time frame. obviously this person was parked somewhere imitating a vulture. in new hampshire is it legal for this to happen?

Answer
I tried to find "SPECIFIC RULES" for this question, but I could not find anything...

Where was it parked, in a space, in the roadway, in a fire lane, on the sidewalk... These are areas vehicles can be towed from..

Does the complex require permits to park in spaces, that could be a reason it was towed...

But "patrol or roam towing" is very common, and while it sounds like the tow company was being a "vulture" you might of just been there at the time they cruised the lot... Otherwise you might of been ok, for hours... Who knows on that one.

But given the times you mentioned and such, I would bet it was just one of those "unlucky" times they were there... Tow trucks cost big bucks(40 to 60 thousand dollars) and as such they can not sit in lots waiting for violators, (unless it is a very common problem there).
