Towing Issues: towing, tow dolly, ford ranger

can a 2007 ford ranger tow-dolly a 1998 buick cutlass?

While this is not my area of expertise, I do have to say a few things here.

First of all, the ranger weight is between 3300 to 4000 pounds... The Cutlass is about 3200 pounds..  And what does the dolly weigh ???


And the towing capacity of the ranger depends on a few things, such as 2 or 4 wheel drive, and tires, axles and such...

But I would say that most likely it can not be done...  If you want to check then go to the U Haul web site and run the vehicles to see if you can do it.. I bet it will not allow it due to sizes and capacity... Remember they take into consideration the SAFETY FACTORS.
