Towing Issues: Ford F350 Needs to travel, auto transport company, ford f350

I have a 1999 F350 long bed dually. It broke down in Loisiana and I live in Alabama. I can have it fixed there for way too many thousands of dollars or bring it to a friend of mine (a diesel mechanic) and let him repair it for the cost of parts only. My problem is I can't find any way to get it here but by a auto transport company. I have another f-350 that can tow it but I have no tow dolly. I can't find anyone that has one that will rate for my vehicle's size. Any idea's as to where i can rent something and what I can rent to haul this truck home?

I have no idea where you can find a tow dolly or a trailer which can tow the truck back... Most all of them will not handle the weight.
A tow bar if you can find one would work most likely.

I am guessing that you do not want to pay a tow truck to haul it back, but if you know anyone with a tractor trailer then you might get it bought back. Or if you have a tow company in the area you are friends with, you might get them to find someone who is trying to get a vehicle moved to that area or from your area...

Check around and you might find something...
