can towing companies take cash on site to drop your car?

well since I do not know the reason for the tow, I can not really provide an answer..

But if you were being towed from a private property parking lot, then in most cases you could pay a drop fee to redeem the vehicle at the scene..

If the police were having it towed, then depending on the reasons you might not be able to pay a drop fee at the scene, and would have to go to the tow yard after you got the needed paperwork from the police....

NOW, what are the reasons for the tow, if you want a correct answer you need to provide City and State and the full reasons for the tow in order to get an accurate answer...

YES they can take cash in most cases, but they do not take FRANCS, RUBLES, YEN, EUROS, or other foreign "CASH"
