Hi Don... Is it legal in California to tow a 28 ft Fifth Wheel and a 23 ft boat?

I tried to find an answer and eventually just ran out of time to scan through the 945 pages of the california vehicle code!

I did find referrence to a 40' maximum length, but I am not 1005 sure that applies to this situation.
