Towing Issues: Towing Vehicles, gawr, jennifer jennifer

Question
I recently purchased a boat that I have not trailered.  It says on the trailer GVWR =5,200 and GAWR = 2366 kgs.  What kind of vehicle do I need to purchase to safely trailer it?  I like mid sized SUVs.

Jennifer, I really hate to say it all depends on what you want.  It would be hard to tell you one or another, as it depends on your preference.  But in looking at the differant vehicles, you can check out the towing capacity ratings of them. If the towing is going to be a major part of the vehicles job then you might need to upsize a bit for more safety.
