Toyota Repair: 1987 supra, coolant temp, injector pulse

Question
i have a 1987 toyota supra, we switched the engins and hooked everything up right.  now the car starts but is overloading on fuel.. the engine is a 7mge 3.0 when we pull the fuse for the fuel regulator it idles down but i can't rev it or it wants to die.  i am stumped and so is my cousin who is a mechanic.. i want to get the car in the road soon, so if u have any ideas they would be greatfully appreciated
thanks.

Answer
Check coolant temp sensor for the computer, check the injector pulse voltage to see if the injectors are sataying open, check the cold start injector for the same, check all computer grounds both under the hood and at the computer, if the computer was disconnected recheck the connectors, see if there are any diagnostic codes at the connector under the hood.
