Toyota Repair: Block coolant drains, camry v6, auto repair shops

Question
Hi Ted: I have a 2003 Camry v6. How do you get to the back block petcock to drain the antifreeze. Thank you

Answer
It's not necessary to completely drain the block, a simple coolant drain and refill is usually all that is required but if you are concerned about removing all the old coolant most dealers and auto repair shops can do a complete flush using a coolant exchange machine at a reasonable cost, this will also eliminate the difficulty of removing all the air from the system after draing the block.
