Toyota Repair: theft deterrent system, theft deterrent system, toyota camry

Question
I have a 1997 Toyota Camry LE with a problem.  I changed the battery and the theft deterrent system blocked ignition.  To complicate matters, I have no fob or Master key and the driver's side lock is jammed.  I've tried almost everything.  I simply want to start the car.  Is there a way to deactivate the theft deterrent system.  I do not care if the car no longer has an alarm.  I just want to get it going.  Thank you.

Answer
Replacing the battery normally doesn't affect the immobilizer system, does it have an aftermarket alarm system installed? Look at the lower left of the dash and tell me if there is a small bracket with an LED indicator light. Does the engine turn over but not start? Does the alarm sound when opening the door and trying to start the engine?
