Toyota Repair: 1999 Camary LE Hesitate After stop, transmission shifts, code numbers

QUESTION: My car engine starts and runs smooth but when I stop at light and then try to accelerate it hesitate and it takes some effort  and hard push on accelerator to gain speed. I am afraid it may stall on the road. Any clue?

ANSWER: Is it a V-6 or 4 cylinder engine and is the check engine light on?

Thank you for the reply, please have the check engine light diagnosed, most major autoparts stores will do this at no cost, there will be one or more diagnostic trouble codes stored in the computer, I will need to know the DTC numbers(not the description) just the code numbers and I can help to what course of action to take.
