Question93 Toyota Corolla 1.8ltr 120,000 mil. auto trans and the speedometer started to not show correct speed for a month or so, then it started working again. Now it stopped working again, it reads like 10 to 20 mph even when going about 70 mph. Any ideas?
Answersee if there are any codes in the ecu.
Its obviously the head or the sensor.
Youll need to read what speed the ecu is getting. If the ecu speed is correct then its the head, if the ecu speed is wrong, its the sensor.
you may need to take it in for someone to put a scan tool on it.
