Toyota Repair: toyota sequoia vcs, rear wheel speed, toyota sequoia

Question
Toyota Sequoia,2003, 2wd,55,000mi; I backed over a chair in a bag(like you take to ball games); the vcs trac off light came on and will not go off; I tried to push the button on the panel; it made no diff;I turned the engine off, waited for reset then turned it back on; no diff; I drove it 20mi to work and back today; no diff; the light stays on; no beeping except if i go over a bump and brake; so the system is definitely off as if I had turned it off on purpose to ride over a gravel road or get out of a ditch.

Answer
you may have pulled a wire off at a rear wheel speed sensor.
There will be a code in the ecu if that happened.
Youll need a scan tool to pull the code.
Look under where the chair was and see if anything is hanging or out of place. If you find it and correct it. You will still need to have the light reset.
