Toyota Repair: 04 Toyota Sienna brakes, toyota sienna, brake pads

My Sienna LE 3.3l has 35,000mi.and the front brakes are starting to squeak regularly, but they squeak louder when rolling in reverse with no appling of the brake pedal. What is the normal mileage for front brake pads, and what causes the more severe squeaking in reverse? These are the original set that came on the van brand new.

you may find out its the rear. They are known for rear noise and have a TSB (technical service bulletin) out with a new style drum available.
If it is indeed the front it may be the warning tab hitting the rotor. thats why in R it makes a different sound. Have them checked
35K miles isnt bad.
