Toyota Repair: Auto Trans Shifter, warning light, 4runner

Question
I put a new stereo in our 1998 4Runner Limited.  Everything no problem.  When the job was done I cannot get the shifter to come out of park.  There is an acuator in the lock out that needs to be depress to allow the shifter to move.  We also triggered an ABS lite and no speedometer now.  I am an ex-ford driveabilty tech and still think I can solve the problems of the world.  I'm heading to toyota next but if anything rings a bell please help!

There is a chance that for some reason some fuses have blown so check all of them, if all the fuses are good there should be a DTC for the ABS warning light, can you find out what it is?
Let me know what the dealer finds out and I need to know what trouble codes they find and also what their diagnosis is to fix this problem.
