Tractor Repair: under-seat sensor, fiberglass shell, trackless train

Question
I have a 22 HP craftsman tractor with a kohler engine. It was Ourchased in 2005.  It s not used for lawn so has no cutting deck.  It has a fiberglass shell and is used to tow a trackless train in an amusement ride.  My question is the sensor under the seat is bad and stalls the tractor all the time.  I have tried bypassing it by joining the two wires with no result.  i want to bypass this instead of putting a new sensor since i want to avoid mishaps in the middle of events.  How do i go about bypassing this sensor? Thanks in advance for your help

Answer
Alex the question you ask is a question I can answer but due to the current laws around the world.
All I will say is spend the money and buy a new safety switch as the words say SAFETY this is my main concern you by pass this switch and you leave your self open to all forms of legal action if some one gets hurt on your ride.

I am sorry I will not compromise other peoples safety for you or others.
