UK Car Repair: 86 XJ6 sunroof, manual override, parcel shelf

I just bought an '86 XJ6.  The sunroof moved back, but refuses to close.  Is there a manual override on it somewhere?  How is the best way to get it closed?  I've checked the switch and it's not the problem. Thanks, Bruce

Uncover the motor which is in the boot up in the centre behind the parcel shelf. You will see a square dog on the end of the motor, you can turn it with a tool to move the roof. The cars originally came with a small winder handle especially for this purpose - check around, it might be in the car somewhere.
