Volvo Repair: 1994 volvo 940 no brake lights, 1994 volvo 940, brake light switch

I have a 1994 volvo 940 4 door sedan. my brake lights do not work. the fuse is good. there is power to the brake light switch and through it when the pedal is pressed.  no power at the brake light bulbs. does this vehicle have a bulb failure sensor and bulb failure relay. where is the location of the failure sensor and relay. any help would be appreciated.

it does have a bulb failure relay.it should be on the relay panel behind the ashtray.the relay is located on the fuse panel behind the ashtray.remove the ashtray and then remove trim around lighter socket then you will see 2 screws remove the screws and the storage area will come out the relay is red and round
