Buick/Olds: Dash Lights Out, olds aurora, fan controls

I have a 97 Olds Aurora and when I drive during the day, my dash lights (radio, DIC, fan controls and lights for check engine, abs, etc.) work fine and i can see them.

The problem only occurs at night and the problem is that the light is no longer on and I cant even see what speed I am going at night. The weird part is, I still have all of my functions available ie. I can use the radio and change the station, but I cant see what it is on. Same with the a/c fan controls, can use, but cant see what it is set to.

I have checked some fuses and havent found any that were burned up, what do you think could be going on? (I could be checking the wrong fuses...)

the thing could be that you fuse for your tail lights is burned out. to be sure, turn your tail lights on, check to see if they are on. if not, find the fuse for them.   turn on, then check...if not, replace the fuse, then change the fuse.
recheck you dash lights now.
