Buick/Olds: Engine stopped twice while driving., conventional distributor, diagnostic computer

Question
Twice this morning the engine stopped in traffic,I took it out of drive while still moving, and started straight away
no problem. Then ten minuets later it did the same again.Any Ideas for a guy that may get stuck in Spain.

Sounds like your onboard computer is getting glitches. If you have an ignition module, it could be getting weak.
If you take it in for a diagnostic computer check, the codes will tell EXACTLY what is going on. It could even be in the apparatus that replaces the conventional distributor.
