Dodge: 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan wont start, dodge grand caravan, grand caravan

Van has 3.3 litre engine & 220,000 kms. The other day I started my van to warm up & when I returned to it it was stalled. When I turned the key to restart it there was nothing ... no cranking nor clicking. As well, the instrument lights do not light up, the stereo does not work & the power windows & locks do not work. The blower fan for the heater will work as do the interior dome lights & headlights. All relays & fuses seem to be OK. Any idea what the problem is?

It is more than likely the alternator or the battery.Could be either one.If the altenator isn't charging the battery you will go nowhere.But the battery itself could be bad.You can have them both checked at an autozone or Oreillys.If the van won't move you may have to take the battery to them and let them check it.The same with the alternator.If you have no power it is a charging issue with 1 of these.It's just hard to say which one it is.
