Ford: 2003 Ford Focus SE Stalling out, vacuum leak, vacuum hose

Question
I have replaced the gas filter and EGR valve it's still stalling out I have to keep my foot on the accelerator to keep it running any suggestions? Thank You

Answer
I do not know which engine you have , but I will tell you that the IAC motor is very common failure.

Do you have a "Check engine", or "Service Engine Soon" light on?

Try creating a small vacuum leak by removing the vacuum hose from the brake booster. Partially plug the opening and start the car. The CEL light may come on, but we are looking to see if it will now idle on its own. If it does, you will probably need a new Idle Air Control (IAC) motor.

Please get back to me with engine code (8th VIN)
