GM-GMC: Radiator on 1994 GMC Sierra 350 5.7, gmc sierra 350, gmc sierra

Question
When replacing a raditator on a 1994 GMC Sierra 350 5.7, is there anything I should know about the metal aluminum lines coming off the radiator, bottom right side?  Are these the oil cooler lines?  If so, could I lose fluid out of them when I disconnect them?  Do I need to replace anything other than the antifreeze?  Thanks!

Answer
Chad,

They should be automatic transmission cooler lines, but trace them and see where they go.

You will loose a small amount of whatever fluid is in them, but not enough to hurt anything.

Just be sure to check the system the lines are connected to, for proper fluid level and leaks at the radiator, after you install the radiator and test drive the vehicle.
