GM-GMC: Its Me again!, conected, special key

  It's me again. I probably coudn't explain my problem the last time. OK, let me try. My truck is a GMC, V6, 4X4, 2.8, S15 and 1988. There is a problem because sometimes it stops, I need to press the gas pedal several times to keep the truck running. I got a special key in AUTOZONE for GMC'S trucks to put it where the computer is conected. After that, you turn the switch on and off three times, and then, the check engine light begins to flush, giving you a code. I can do that, but if I have the code, for exemple (25) I know is a code No.25, but I don't know what it means. So, there is a code list where you compare your codes numbers, that's what I need. Autozone sometimes gives you that list, but they don't have information right now, may you posibly give me that please?.

I know what you are looking for, However the listing of codes is not all in one place they are all in the service manual and in different sections for different problems. I offer literature but it is through my site which is http://rfi_history.tripod.com there you can send me the request via e mail.
