Honda: driver side door, door latch, honda accord

My driver side door of my 2000 Honda accord wont open from the inside or the outside. how can i get this fixed without having to pay too much. what can I do myself to try to fix it?the door panel cant come off because its to closed to the door.

This is usually a rather difficult repair a novice. The driver's seat will require removal and then remove the door panel. The lower Window track will need to be removed to gain clearance to the door latch. The door latch needs to be drilled out in the precise location to manually trip the latch from the inner door structure. It's not easy.
