Honda: 94 honda accord lx, honda dealership, black boxes

the d4 (drive 4) lights flashes and the car is having trouble shifting between 1 and 3rd eveytime this happens. i have taken it to a ,echanic and had some of the wires redone and installed a new computer, however the problem persist. i have taken it twice. What could the problem be?

the problem is you transmission honda automatics suck.especially accords go to any honda dealership and you will find a bunch of big black boxes on the shop floor,inside those boxes are trannies waiting to go into cars with the d4 light flashing.  sorry no good news
