Honda: cold air intake, cold air intake, air intake systems

Question
i'm looking for a new intake to put in to replace the stock air box. i've been looking on ebay and there is a huge difference in prices between the name brand ones and the non name brand ones. is there a reason why i should buy an aem or injen over the generic intakes? and if i get a cold air intake, should i be concerned with hydrolock? if so should i just go with the short ram? and does cold air and short ram perform that much differently?

Answer
You could just get one without a name it is only the name you are paying for most no named ones are made by the same companies that make the branded named ones. You shouldn't worry about hydrolock as it won't affect modern air intake systems. Get a cold air it is quicker And you get more acceleration and better fuel economy. If you need anymore questions answered plz feel free to ask. Kind regards Dean.
