Hyundai: Starting, spark plug wires, pitch darkness

Question
Our 2001 Sonata has developed a habit of not starting.  She appears to start and operate normal when cold.  But have running temperatures elevate.  Without warning, when attempting to start the car, there is nothing.  Horn is strong.  Lights and all electrical components seems normal.  But the starter would not make a sound, no solenoid clicks, nothing.  After the car cools down, then she starts with no problem.  Like nothing ever happened.  I have some ideas, but can you help?

Answer
Hi Mr. Jackson, Well first thing that come to mind is new starter. My first guess would be a problem in the ignition system. A lot of Sonatas seem to be having problems with bad spark plugs and wires.Try opening the hood in pitch darkness and have someone rev the engine while staring at the spark plug wires and coil packs.  If you see ANY blue sparks or blue light there is a voltage leak.  Your dealer should at least try replacing your plug wires and spark plugs before replacing the coil packs.  If you see blue sparks coming from the coil packs, that means they're shot and need to be replaced.
