Hyundai: Starter, weird situation, hi tim

I have a 2002 Accent. Without any input (car parked, locked, no one in it, keys in pocket) my starter intermittently tries to crank the engine. Of course, while at the dealer, the problem would not present itself. Any ideas as to what could be causing this? Short somewhere???

Hi Tim, this is a weird situation, I never had a car do that before. It's probably is a shortage in the starter, I recommend that you buy a new starter and soon. If does it after you buy a new starter than you might want to get it checked up again because it might be a problem with the wiring system.
