QUESTION: 2004 s500, it started after setting one hour. The battery will drain again in within 7 days and I have to put the car in the garage to ensure it will start in the morning. If it gets under 45 degrees it will not start also and the ignition key will not turn.

Answer
Anthony,
If the Alternator has a bad diode it will allow the battery to drain back to ground over time when the vehicle sits and kill the charge.
I would have the charging system checked at an auto parts store, as many will do this for free.
If this vehicle has a security system, it may have become armed through the loss of power.
I would phone the dealer and ask them how to disarm the system.

I have reset the main computer on my vehicle by doing the following.  release the hood latch. turn off all accessories and the radio. manually lock the doors. Remove the battery terminals (-) first then (+) Clean the terminals and posts. Leave disconnected for 15 minutes.  Re connect and tighten the terminals (+) first then (-).

Using the mechanical key unlock the driver door and wait until all the locks have cycled open before touching the door handle.
Open the door and see if the vehicle will start.

Good Luck
