Mitsubishi: power steering, mitsubishi dealer, power steering pump

hi,couple of weeks ago,i bought a 01 mitsi challenger.it has an audible whine from the power steering,not too loud but loud enough.i took it back,[under warranty and all],and he spoke to mitsi mechanic and was told that this was pretty normal,but would drain all psteering fluid and replace with mitsi fluid[which i thought was in there already]as this might help.on speaking with other challenger owners,there ones dont whine.could it be just the fluid or more likely the pump,please help!

Not real familiar with the Challengers? Is that Purtorican?> But all of the Mitsubishi that i deal with actually you can put regular fluid in there,, To me it sounds like a power steering pump,, I would take it to another Mitsubishi dealer and ask them.. He sounds like he was just trying to push you off..
