hi when I start my car it goes the engine goes in hi rev and low and then turn off why

As noted in my profile, my hands-on experience does not include the year and model of your SAAB. However, from your description, it sounds like a leak problem at the intake manifold...a broken hose, failed gasket, or cracked housing, allowing an overly lean mixture.
