Toyota: P0441 code on my 2002 Toyota Celica, toyota celica, charcoal canister

My 2002 Toyota Celica threw a P0441 Code.  I know it has something to do with the EVAP System.  I'm being told to look for a charcoal canister under the vehicle.  Does you know where it is located on a 2002 Toyota Celica (1.8 litre)?  Also, what do you suggest I do to keep the code from coming back.  Another thing I forgot to tell you is that I've been using 87 octane gas and I don't have an owners manual to confirm that I don't need a higher octane fuel.  Do you know if I need 89 or 93 octane instead of the 87?  I guess that could throw the code if I'm using the wrong octane fuel???

The canister is under the rear of the vehicle; you need it on a hoist to see it, it is near the fuel tank. On the canister is the valve that needs replaced.

Regarding the fuel, I recomment 89 octane, UNLESS you have a GTS Celica, which needs 93 octane.
