Use Actron CP9135 to diagnose "check engine" light. There is a long delay before the CP9135 turns on. Don't know if it is a long delay or me tapping on connection for it to turn on.
when it turned on, i found errors P0236 & P0237. i replaced the booster pressure sensor and MAP sensor. using the actron to erase the code (again long delay to come on). i was able to erase 2 of 3 errors. the error that i am unable to erase is P0236.
btw; i've had this check engine light for about 6 months and i've just recently replace the battery (don't know if this has anything to do with the issue).
do i need to go through drive cycle to be able to erase this code? i don't know if the long delay for the CP9135 to come on or recently replaced battery that i need to go through drive cycle?

If the code will not clear I a would say there is stil a fault.
The control module checks the signal from the boost pressure sensor if the module has not detected a fault in the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor or the mass air flow (MAF) sensor. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-AD is stored if the signal from the boost pressure sensor is lower than a certain limit (signal too low) when the ignition is on but the engine is not running.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-AD is also stored if the signal from the boost pressure sensor is higher than a certain limit (signal too high) when the engine is running,

Contact resistance in the terminals
Defective boost pressure sensor 1.
A drive cycle is not needed to clear a fault code.
