Volvo: 1990 244DLA Tranny cross member, cross member, floorboard

Question
Hi Jimmy:
I hope this message finds you well.  Thanks for all your previous help!
The tranny cross member on my 1990 244DLA is rotted in the middle.  I assume I want to replace it before it rots all the way across.
Question: Do I only need to support the tranny and remove the two bolts on either side to r/r the bracket? Is there anything hidden I need to know about?  Is there a rubber mount in this area too?
Question: What other model years have the same part?  I hope to find the part used somewhere, but my local junkyard has only offered to remove one from a 240 and not specify year.  I'd hate to get it home to find out it doesn't fit.

Thanks and regards,
Dave

Answer
Hello Dave! Just support the trans and the X-member should come out easily. 2 bolts on either side and 1 bolt for the rubber mount. All 240's share the same part. Make sure you check the floorboard for rust! I have seen them rot awat at the mounting point for the x-member! I hope this info helps.
