I recently purchased a used 1995 Volvo 850 wagon.  The vehicle came with a single key and I'd like to get the keyless entry option.  Was the keyless entry feature factory installed on this model?  If not, what is involved to install it?

Hello Mark! You should be able to buy a remote control and program it to the car. Some of the "stripped down" versions may not have the reciver installed. It could be easily installed. After you get a remote, I can tell you how to program it.

Hey Mark! Get in the car, make sure all doorss, trunk and hood are closed. Turn the key in the ignition off and on 5 times. Do not strt the car. On the 5th time, leave the key in the on position and press the lock and unlock button on the remote. Turn the ignition off and test it. You may have to try it a few times for it to take.
